meet elle

Elle Schwab, founder of elle j design, brings almost a decade of experience in interior design, eight years in furnishings, and five years in architectural drafting. Her expertise spans kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, electrical and lighting plans, and hands-on construction, including building her own home. Elle’s approach blends sleek lines with rustic warmth, creating spaces that prioritize both style and purpose.

Elle’s deep understanding of her clients’ needs allows her to adapt her aesthetic to a wide range of design styles. As an advocate for her clients, she’s there every step of the way—from the initial design concepts to the final walk-through—to bring their vision to life. Elle lives in Summit County, Colorado, with her husband, two children, and their dog, and she looks forward to helping clients bring their dreams from blueprint to bliss.

Meet shae

Shae is an associate interior designer with six years of experience and a Master’s in Interior Architecture. With a grounded and refined approach, she creates spaces that balance form and function—environments that not only look beautiful but feel intuitive and deeply considered.

Curious and detail-driven, Shae is always in search of fresh perspectives, drawing inspiration from travel, nature, and the subtle ways people move through and connect with their surroundings. This thoughtful lens allows her to adapt to a wide range of styles while staying true to the essence of each space and the personalities of those who inhabit it.

Whether reimagining a cozy retreat or transforming an entire home, Shae approaches every project with care, creativity, and collaboration—designing with, not just for, her clients.

Outside of her work, Shae spends time with her partner, son, and two dogs, usually out in nature or exploring a favorite bookstore, always on the hunt for new ideas and quiet moments of inspiration.

meet Hannah

Hannah is an Associate Designer whose work blends cross-disciplinary creativity with a refined, narrative-driven approach. With four years of combined professional, academic, and independent experience, she brings a thoughtful balance of artistry, technical skill, and curatorial sensitivity to every project.

A graduate of the Paris College of Art, Hannah’s design perspective is shaped by her immersion in European art and architectural history. This influence, paired with her passion for antiques and historic properties, informs her ability to weave subtle historical context into contemporary spaces—creating interiors that feel both timeless and deeply personal.

Hannah’s process centers on understanding the story behind each project. She approaches design as an immersive, sensory experience, carefully considering how materials, atmosphere, and functionality come together to reflect the individuality of her clients. Her multidisciplinary background in interior, graphic, and communication design allows her to build cohesive visual narratives, ensuring clarity, intention, and craftsmanship from concept through completion.
