We were brought in to refresh a 90s mountain townhome that still had its original honey toned logs, teal carpet, dated finishes, and limited natural light, while keeping its authentic character intact. We glazed the existing trim and kitchen cabinetry two different hues to soften the yellow tones, updated all surfaces with new paint, flooring, cabinets, countertops, tile, and lighting, and completely reimagined the bathrooms, including a challenging Jack and Jill layout that we reconfigured for better functionality without changing the footprint. The primary suite received a subtle update with modern finishes and improved lighting, and additional overhead lighting throughout the home transformed previously dim spaces into bright, welcoming ones. The result is a lighter and more refined version of the original log style that preserves its mountain comfort and warmth while feeling current and refreshed.
